Dr. Charles Wilson is a board-certified otolaryngologist (ENT) specialist treating patients along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Dr. Wilson graduated from Oklahoma University with distinction and as a member of Phi Beta Kappa honor society in 1987. He attended medical school at Wake Forest School of Medicine in Winston Salem, NC and graduated in 1992 with membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. Dr. Wilson completed his surgical internship at St. Luke’s hospital in Kansas City, MO in 1993 followed by a 4 year residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Kansas University Medical Center.
Dr. Wilson served 4 years active duty as a surgeon and Major in the United States Air Force at Keesler Medical Center until starting his private practice in 2001.
Dr. Wilson currently provides general ENT care to patients ranging in age from newborn to centenarians. He is a member of the Academy of Otolaryngology, American College of Surgeons, American Thyroid Association, and the Mississippi State Medical Association. He lectures regionally on Thyroid and Parathyroid surgery and provides proctoring to nurse practitioner students.
Making his home on the Gulf Coast, Dr. Wilson spends time with Amy, his wife of 20 + years, and their 3 children. He is an active member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Assistant Scoutmaster with Boy Scout Troop 271 and coach of youth basketball and soccer. His hobbies include jogging, backpacking, gardening, traveling, and spending time with friends.
